TheOtherRockRoom is a section of the site we dedicate to all the music from us and our band mates that vectors away from the main BigRockRoom. Here you will find friends and their bands that have all contributed to thebigrockroom, along with side-projects and curios we felt like sharing. Please take a look around.......
Amongst other things, My section of TheOtherRockRoom will have a few random/erroneous videos that I've assembled myself, largely out of sheer boredom. Although the music is always taken seriously, the videos don't put a moratorium on irreverence!
I'm a huge Beatles fan and always up for a different interpretation of their oeuvre, sadly I didn't get the memo that if you rock up a Fab Four classic or two, the haters get up really early in the morning and you risk ostracism from society! Well listen up haters, there's a new Sheriff in town and he's a badass....no, I wasn't crying, I was chopping onions okay?
It won't exclusively be covers of half-century old, Liverpudlian moptops, although I'm always fooling around with belters from the1960's, there's also nothing regular with their completion, as and when. Please have a look and let me know what you think, good or bad.
All the best. Paul
Lonely Hearts Club Band
Lonely Hearts Club Band

This is a cover of The Beatle's Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, an awesome song by Macca that I always felt needed to be louder, I've duly obliged (errrm, myself!). It features my errant friend Andrew Watt on second guitar and some additional vocals by the superb Matt Thelwell.
The video is the result of chronic boredom in the pub one Friday afternoon:
'Hey, fancy dressing up in Pepper suits and doing a video for that song?'
I took it as a yes.

I've long thought this song was a blinder but needed speeding up and a bit more whack thrown onto the guitars (that's a technical term by the way.) Again, many Beatleheads view this as sacrilege but they're forgetting one small but important factor, I DON'T CARE!
My mate Andrew Watt shows up again on second guitar and I take care of the rest. As you can probably deduce from his ludicrous jacket, I had to break him out of his observation ward especially for the video, then claim to the nurses I found him wandering around by the bins upon his return. He's a latter day H. M. Murdoch without any discernible aviation skills

I haven’t drastically metalified this Fab Four classic as it didn’t really call for it, but it rocked along nicely regardless! Enjoy! - Paul
